Preschool 4 is busy practicing for the end of the year shows. Our classes will perform in the auditorium during the week of May 10-13th. The classroom teachers will send home letters to let you know the exact date and time of your child's class performance.

Our final Unit of Inquiry for the year is "Turn the Page." The central idea: Books come in many shapes and forms and convey ideas and information. It is an inquiry into:

1. How we learn from books
2. The physical features of books
3. Book making
4. Different kinds of books.

• Mrs. Martin read the story, No More Cookies! by Paeony Lewis during library time. Here is a great game to follow up on this story at home. This game teaches children and parents how to make Banana Lollies. There are some other great recipe ideas as well.
